Champions League final: Mbappe reacts as PSG thrash Inter Milan 5-0

Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe, has congratulated Paris Saint-Germain after they hammered Inter Milan 5-0 to win the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.

It is history for PSG, who lifted the trophy for the first time in their history.

Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue scored within the opening 20 minutes to give the Ligue 1 champions a healthy lead.

Doue scored his second of the night to put the result beyond doubt just past the hour mark and late goals from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and substitute Senny Mayulu put the icing on the cake.

Victory represented vindication for Enrique, who got rid of Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar, putting his faith in a young squad.

Mbappe, who joined Madrid last summer, wrote on social media: “The big day has finally arrived, Victory and with the manner of a whole club, Congratulations, PSG.”
