
Cameroon goalkeeper, Ange Bawou is confident of a good outing against the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
The Indomitable Lionesses will face Justine Madugu’s side in a friendly at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta on Tuesday (today).
Jean Baptiste Bisseck’s side are undergoing a major overhaul after falling to qualify for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Bawou, who once played for Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions, Bayelsa Queens stated that facing one of their major rivals on the continent will aid their rebuilding process.
“We are working on a great project with the national team,” Bawou said.
“There are many good opportunities ahead of us, and we need to prepare well. Playing against Nigeria gives us a solid platform to test ourselves and improve.”
Tonight’s encounter will kick-off at 4pm.
