Ekpa who made the denial when he was arranged in a Finnish court on terror-related charges on Wednesday, refuted claims that he is a member of IPOB and described himself as a content creator who makes videos and other contents for leisure.
While giving his testimony during cross-examination, the founder of IPOB-Auto-Pilot, a breakaway group from the main IPOB, told the court that he has nothing to do with the Nnamdi Kanu-led pro-Biafra group.
Ekpa’s denial of his membership of IPOB has however, caused a buzz on social media as many X users have taken to the platform to mock him for denying the group at a critical opportunity that he should have used to project the image of the group. WATCH THE FULL COURT PRECEEDING VIDEO OF SIMONE EKPA

“Just finished listening to Simon Ekpa’s court proceedings, and I’m honestly in disbelief. During cross-examination, he completely distanced himself from IPOB, claiming he’s merely a content creator. According to him, everything he’s done was simply ‘acting’, nothing more.”
