He claimed that after drinking alcohol, he began chopping up Hafsoh’s motionless body. Per Vanguard News, Abdulrahman Bello declared, “I did everything myself.” He said, “I drank alcohol and then cut her body into pieces.”

A suspect admitted to using a knife and cutlass that were discovered by police in his Ilorin flat to dismember a body when he appeared before Justice Hannah Ajayi at the Kwara State High Court. But he denied killing Hafsoh, saying she passed away from an asthma attack while having sex. Bello, the suspect, stunned the jury during cross-examination when he acknowledged that he did not call for assistance, notify the police of the occurrence, or transport the corpse to the hospital.
