Popular realtor Maduba Okechi Christian, popularly known as Ceemore, and his security detail are accused of orchestrating what should have been a happy evening with friends into a scene of violence, humiliation, and suffering.
In order to guarantee a seamless and quiet celebration, Okoye spent N200,000 to reserve a VIP table at the club. But when the suspect approached her group and was turned away, things swiftly got out of hand. Maduba reportedly became enraged when one of the ladies started filming a video of herself dancing, which escalated tensions. As the suspect and his associates allegedly pulled Okoye down a set of stairs, the scene descended into violence. In front of shocked customers, she was stripped nude and brutally beaten.
According to witnesses, the public attack left her traumatised and with numerous injuries. She was not the only victim of the incident. Juliet Obasi, another visitor who had come from Owerri to take part in the festivities, was hit with a bottle and had a head injury. She was bleeding heavily and needed immediate attention. During the confusion, a third woman in the group reportedly lost a tooth. “They broke my other friend’s teeth,” she claimed. This man arrived with a Mopol and bodyguards, so they pushed me downstairs, stripped me naked, and beat me viciously as though I had stolen something.
