Bishop Oyedepo voiced his strong displeasure of the Buhari-led government during a church service at the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, calling it the most evil and corrupt government in Nigerian history.
As he talked to the crowd, the esteemed cleric—who is well-known for voicing his opinions on national issues—did not hold back. He bemoaned the country’s situation under President Buhari, pointing to the administration’s obvious shortcomings in the areas of systemic corruption, economic hardship, and pervasive insecurity. Oyedepo claims that no government in Nigeria’s post-independence history has caused its citizens as much sorrow and adversity as the one that millions of Nigerians have faced under the rule. Oyedepo vehemently declared, “This is the most corrupt and wicked government in this country’s history.”
“Nigerian evil has never been this bad. I have no obligation to apologise to anyone for being honest. This government’s cruelty is unimaginable.
