Video as Messi in action as Inter Miami draw Al-Ahly in Club W’Cup opener

Lionel Messi was in action for Inter Miami against Al-Ahly as the revamped Club World Cup got under way in the US on Sunday morning (Nigeria time).

The host city club played out an entertaining goalless draq against Egyptian giants Al Ahly to kick off the tournament.

The Egyptian side had qualified as winners of the African Champions League and have serious pedigree, winning 45 league championships and 12 titles on the continent.

Brazil’s Ronaldo was present at the game alongside Fifa president Gianni Infantino.
