What followed was even more surprising 2Baba later announced his engagement to Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. In the weeks that followed, Natasha confirmed that she and the African Queen crooner were now legally married.
In a recent post, Annie hinted at being the target of ill wishes, saying someone was upset because she hadn’t broken down as they expected. Though she didn’t name anyone, fans were quick to speculate about who the post might be addressing.
“Somebody mad at me because you ain’t suffering the way they expected to,” she wrote, sparking online reactions.
It’s worth noting that Annie had previously confirmed her split from 2Baba at the 17th Headies Awards in April 2025, when she publicly introduced herself by her maiden name, “Macaulay.”
