In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, she stated in a video that was uploaded to the official With Chude YouTube channel that she will never call Christianity a horrible religion, but that Islam is the one that works for her the most. “For me, Islam is what is inside you that you cannot see and how you treat and relate with others,” Adunni Ade claims.
When I’m gone from this world, no one can judge me or my behaviour. The reason I’m coming out as a Muslim is because I’m sick of hiding it. I’ve attended a variety of churches, and my personal objective is to pray, get closer to God, and have my prayers heard. Islam is the religion that works for me, but I will never argue that Christianity is a horrible religion.
