The 28-year-old Las Vegas resident traveled to Florida in early March with her sister, seeking cosmetic surgery. Within hours of her procedure, she was gone.

On March 7, Miller underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift and liposuction at Avana Plastic Surgery. Following the operation, she was transferred to Keyla’s Recovery House, a facility meant to provide postoperative care. However, investigations later revealed the center had no license to operate.

As she rested that afternoon, staff reportedly gave her medications not prescribed by a doctor. By evening, concern grew when she failed to wake up. At approximately 9:30 p.m., staff attempted to check on her but found her unresponsive. Emergency services arrived shortly after and pronounced her dead at 10:26 p.m.

According to police, Miller was discovered lying face-down, heavily bandaged, and already exhibiting signs of rigor mortis—suggesting she had died hours before help arrived.

An autopsy confirmed that a lethal combination of substances led to her death. Authorities are now investigating how she was treated post-surgery and what drugs were administered without proper medical oversight.

Her story has stirred outrage online and reignited scrutiny of cosmetic surgery practices in South Florida—especially concerning unregulated recovery homes. Miller leaves behind a grieving family and a young child, as many call for justice and greater accountability in the growing BBL industry.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
