The FBI said agents are searching for Saul Aguilar, Jr.
In a news release, the agency said Aguilar is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of his ex-girlfriend in California.
In December 1997, the victim was found in her home with a shotgun wound to her upper torso,” the release noted.
The FBI said an arrest warrant was issued in 1998 by the Los Angeles County, California Superior Court, after Aguilar was charged with murder. He was later charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and a federal arrest warrant.
