According to P.M.EXPRESS, the event occurred on July 1, 2025, at their residence on Oseni Street in Oshodi, Lagos. Before being taken to the hospital for treatment, the defendant allegedly seriously injured the victim and burned him all over his body with fire from a burning nylon, according to the police.

The local police were notified of the situation. Because of his claimed behaviour, the woman was taken into custody and taken to the Command’s Gender Section to be questioned. Following a lengthy interrogation at the Gender Section, the police determined that he was guilty and charged him with an infraction that carries a potential sentence of several years in jail before the Ogba Magistrate Court.”That on July 1, 2025, at No. 17.
