In a post shared Instagram on Wednesday, Nkechi appeared to mock Blessing’s newfound romance with IVD, with whom she recently travelled to Qatar, accusing her of becoming what she once criticised.
“PDA dey hungry Blessing CEO all this while? Now why she always dey drag people in love,” Nkechi wrote.
“She mocked every couple in the world, only for her to do worse. You see this life? It has a way of humbling people.”
Nkechi suggested that Blessing’s history of attacking couples online might have stemmed from loneliness or depression, adding cheekily that perhaps she wouldn’t have been so bitter “if she had been ‘coming’ regularly.”
She went on to take a swipe at Blessing’s travel experience, saying: “She has finally upgraded from flying Lagos to Abuja. At least for the first time in her life, she gets to experience what it feels like to travel out of Nigeria.”
However, she sarcastically questioned the destination: “Why Qatar though? Why not UK, Canada, or the US that I just came back from?”
Despite the digs, Nkechi claimed she had no hard feelings.
“I congratulated her on her engagement. I even congratulated her again when we saw recently,” she said.
The actress added that life seems to have reversed their roles.
“Now that you’re in a relationship, now me single. You see life? The table don turn.”
Nkechi concluded her post with a jab at Blessing CEO’s N3.8 million Qatar vacation package promo.
“For those of you planning to pay N3.8 million to travel with Blessing CEO and her boo to Qatar, abeg give me gist when una come back.”
Nkechi’s comments come just weeks after she and Blessing CEO appeared to settle their differences. The two were seen chatting together at the wedding of Priscilla Ojo, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, held in Lagos in June.
Videos from the event showed the former rivals embracing warmly and exchanging pleasantries.
