Carmen Andrade, one of the conjoined twins who rose to public attention for their inspiring story of resilience and individuality, has quietly tied the knot with her boyfriend, Daniel McCormack…CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The two eloped in October last year in a private ceremony held at the historic Lover’s Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut.

Carmen and Daniel met in 2020 through the dating app Hinge, and their relationship blossomed over nearly five years before culminating in marriage. The news was confirmed in a recent interview with TODAY and in a YouTube video titled Overdue Update!, where Carmen proudly showed off her wedding ring.

“We eloped in October with our families,” she said, while holding up her hand to display the ring. Donning a glittering green dress, Carmen added, “I did not wear white. Don’t regret it. I don’t like white.”

Lupita, Carmen’s twin, made it clear that only one of them is married. “I did not [get married],” she said lightheartedly in the video, prompting Carmen to clarify, “Before anybody gets it twisted: We got married,” motioning to herself and her new husband. “We did not get married,” she said, gesturing toward all three.

Daniel also made a brief appearance in the video, joking, “Hi! I got an upgrade, I’m the husband now.”

The twins, now 25, were born in Mexico and moved to the United States as infants. They are connected at the torso and share a pelvis and reproductive system but have separate hearts, lungs, and stomachs. Each has two arms, but they share a single leg.

Despite their physical connection, Carmen and Lupita maintain distinct identities and preferences. While Carmen enjoys romantic relationships, Lupita has publicly identified as asexual. “I’m asexual, but I want Carmen to settle down. I know that’s important to her,” Lupita said.

Carmen has previously spoken about her relationship, explaining that McCormack stood out from the beginning. “I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others because he didn’t lead with a question about my condition,” she told People.

Although the couple had discussed engagement previously, Carmen said they wanted to live together first. “Daniel and my sister get along really well,” she shared. “It’s funny because I stay up later than Lupita, but when Daniel sleeps over, I fall asleep quickly — and he stays up talking with her.”

Carmen also addressed their future, confirming they do not plan to have children. “Lupita and I can’t get pregnant. We have endometriosis and we’re also on a hormone blocker that prevents us from menstruating,” she said, adding that she enjoys being a “dog mom” instead…CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
