After being discovered making odd purchases of grilled meat and drinks, reportedly to transport them to people involved in kidnapping and banditry, a guy was arrested by Kwara State police. According to authorities, the individual had already purchased N20,000 worth of grilled meat and large quantities of other alcoholic beverages before to his arrest.
According to reports, the accused, Patigi town resident Yaman Patigi, 36, was stopped the week before. According to reports, he was in route to deliver supplies like spaghetti, alcohol, cigarettes, medications, and other commodities to a place in the Patigi Local Government Area that is thought to be a hiding place for armed groups. Recently released former hostages told Daily Trust that they were only given little amounts of spaghetti while they were in custody. According to community members, the suspect attempted to justify his behaviour by claiming that the products were intended for Fulani people who lived in a remote region of the region.
Both Hon. Ahmed Rufai, the chairman of the Patigi council, and local leader Mr. Muhammad Ndako confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect had been turned over to the proper authorities.
