He was arrested at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while attempting to travel to Qatar for his wedding to Blessing CEO.
The case stems from an incident in October 2022, where Bimbo Ogbonna died from injuries sustained in a fire at their Lagos residence, allegedly caused by domestic violence. IVD is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter.
Blessing CEO however, came on social to defend her fiancé, IVD, after his arrest at the Lagos airport while attempting to travel to Qatar. Blessing CEO disputes the grounds for the arrest, claiming there’s no travel ban imposed on IVD and questioning the legitimacy of the detention.
