The Emir made the trip in an attempt to show the Buhari family his personal condolences for the former Nigerian leader’s loss.The former First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, together with her children, Yusuf and Halima Buhari, welcomed him to the house.
Emir Sanusi prayed for the late president’s soul to rest in peace during the visit and urged the family to be resilient and strong during this trying time.
According to him, President Buhari was a statesman who served Nigeria with honour and dedication, creating a legacy that will live on in the memories of future generations.
