The incident took place on August 5 at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

A video emerged showing K1 attempting to prevent a plane from taking off, which raised concerns among viewers.

Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VDM, has weighed in on the recent controversy involving veteran Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, and Captain Oluranti, a pilot with ValueJet.

The incident, which reportedly occurred on Tuesday, August 5, at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, sparked widespread discussion after a video surfaced online. In the clip, K1 was seen attempting to stop a plane from taking off an act many found alarming.

Addressing the matter, VDM remarked that in a more advanced country, such conduct could have led to K1’s arrest and possibly a mental health evaluation. He expressed concern over the seriousness of the situation and stressed that such actions should not be taken lightly.

VDM also used the opportunity to educate Nigerians on the dangers of carrying certain items on board, noting that some substances pose explosion risks. While he acknowledged that the pilot could have handled the situation more patiently, he emphasized that K1 was not without blame.

He concluded by advising the singer to consider using private jets in the future if he finds it difficult to follow commercial airline protocols.

VDM’s commentary has since gone viral, prompting mixed reactions across social media.

VDM said:

“Shout out to KWAM1 a legend in the Nigerian music scene, a leader and a father however if Nigeria was an advanced country K1 would have been detained at least, how would you stand in front of an airplane because you can’t abide by the rules, you guys saying the pilot was reckless.”

“I agree however there are things you need to understand…..flight business is a business where every minute counts,a lot of people on that plane have appointments the owner of the plane have daily destinations target.”….CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
