She also noted that she has been unable to settle her hospital bills or afford medication for one of the twins, who is battling an eye issue.
The video quickly gained traction online, prompting many people to respond with support.
In a follow-up visit, the influencer returned to the hospital to inform the new mother that funds had been raised for her by concerned followers.
During their conversation, the influencer asked, “If you’re discharged from the hospital today, where would you go?” The young mother replied that she had nowhere to return to.
She expressed gratitude that the viral video had attracted the attention of kind-hearted individuals.
The influencer, while appreciating her followers, revealed that the money raised would be used to settle the hospital bills and secure a new place for the young mother and her babies.
In her words: “From the money raised for you, we’ll clear the hospital bills. You also mentioned that you have nowhere to return to.”
“I have rented an apartment for you. After you’re discharged, I will take you to the house. The baby’s needs have also been taken care of, and you will return to the hospital from time to time for checkups.”
She added that many of her followers had advised her not to hand the money directly to the young lady for security reasons.
“Majority of my followers asked that I don’t give the money to you and I understand. One is because of security purpose, and I can’t save it into anyone’s account because I’ve had similar experiences,” she explained.
