Adeboye recounts what happened after a boy died. She picked up the boy and placed it on the man of God’s bed.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged Christians to follow the Shunammite woman’s unshakeable faith in 2 Kings 4:18–37. According to Adeboye’s most recent sermon, the woman’s reaction to the tragedy revealed a unique kind of faith that, even in the face of death, refuses to concede defeat…..CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Adeboye recounted the biblical tale of the woman’s long-awaited miraculous child’s unexpected death. Instead of giving up, she picked up the boy and placed him on the prophet Elisha’s bed. Surprisingly, she kept the tragedy from her spouse. Because she had the kind of faith that says, “Death, you have swallowed the wrong fellow,” Adeboye claimed, “she picked up the boy, laid it on the man of God’s bed, and said nothing to the husband about a dead child.”

He emphasised how deeply she believed in God, pointing out that she would not use words to admit criticism. She gave a confident response when her husband asked her why she was going to meet the prophet. “Why are you going to the man of God?” said the husband. “All will be well,” she said, Adeboye clarified. Adeboye continued the tale by pointing out how Elisha sent his servant to see how the woman was doing when he saw her approaching. When he noticed her approaching, the man of God dispatched a servant to investigate. “Hey, woman, how are you?” “Oh, we be well,” the woman said.

She stuck to her statement of faith in spite of the heartbreaking fact that her kid was dead at home. “She responded, ‘All will be well,’ when questioned about her spouse. What about the kid? All is well, she said. We’re talking about that kind of faith,” Adeboye emphasised. The RCCG leader used the anecdote to demonstrate the impact of words that are infused with faith. He asserted that God’s supernatural intervention was made possible by the Shunammite woman’s resolve to deny defeat. Her constant expressions of optimism turned into a prophecy that finally resulted in the boy’s recovery. Adeboye exhorted Christians to make confessions regardless of the situation.

Rather, he urged them to embrace the same spirit of triumph, even in the face of insurmountable obstacles. He clarified that while faith affirms the truth of God’s authority over the facts, it does not deny them. He reminded worshippers that although difficulties are unavoidable, how Christians handle them can affect how things turn out. “How you react establishes who you are, not what occurs to you. “You will eventually see God turn things around if you keep saying, ‘All is well,'” he added. The sermon, which was inspired by one of the most amazing miracles in the Bible, was well received by the congregation, who cheered and yelled in accord. Many were reminded of the discipline of expressing life in times of distress and the need of prayer constancy….CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
