Oyedepo, who was speaking at a church service, called the call an overreach and compared it to “a tenant issuing decrees to the landlord.” He emphasised that mission schools should adhere to their core values and cautioned that those who make such demands should “leave the schools for the owners” and create their own establishments where the hijab can be worn freely. He denounced those who commit these crimes and those who foster a market for organ harvesting and human trafficking, and he urged God to punish them immediately.
Speaking to his audience, he asked believers to support his spiritual stance and to pray fervently for divine intervention. He also exhorted Christians to be unwavering in their prayer and determined in their defence of their faith. He continued by saying, “My advice is simple: Let’s see an end to all forms of harassment against the church in Nigeria and leave the mission schools for their rightful owners.” May God’s all-consuming fire protect His people….CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
