Her advice comes after the altercation between a Nigerian, Comfort Emmanson and the staff of Ibam Air.
Last Sunday, Emmanson, who was a passenger on Ibom Air was arrested for allegedly refusing to switch off her phone, in violation of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regulations.
According to reports, the pilot-in-command called security when the passenger refused to disembark, prompting the crew to restrain her for safe removal.
The circulation of a video showing the passenger’s sensitive body parts sparked public outrage, with many Nigerians condemning the passenger’s treatment as humiliating and degrading.
Reacting to recent reports that the air hostess who attended to the passenger was hostile, Lawal said that those who easily get provoked should not take on service jobs.
She wrote; “What is it about some service providers not understanding that if you are in the service industry, you have to actually serve and not be so prone to emotional displays? Then the set of people who are so comfortable sharing nudity that was not authorised just for clickbait and to humiliate the party in the material.
“Who are the people raising this kind of malicious person? Let’s not even talk about the sick people who share and save such materials. Those ones are not loved at home. It doesn’t matter what someone has done to you; don’t you have human decency? Don’t you have empathy?”
