Ngobili who provided brand new POS machines together with N50,000 start-up capital for each of the 100 beneficiaries, said that the aim was to help the people in fight­ing hunger and unemployment.

He explained that with the POS empowerment, they can be able to start something and fend for themselves. The lawmaker stated that what he did was that he gave them POS machines and a startup capital of N50, 000 each to enable them start a new life.

Ngobili said that the POS em­powerment was in addition to oth­er things he is doing in the constit­uency which includes renovations and construction of 4 class room blocks at Abbot Boys Secondary School Ihiala and also renovated the dilapidated Oduga Customary Court house in Ihiala.

The lawmaker equally informed that recently he did empowerment for 20 students where he under­stood the payment of their NECO fees at Uli Girls Secondary school Ihiala, adding that a lot more em­powerment programmes are com­ing up in the constituency.

He said he would not abandon his constituents instead he would keep empowering them to im­prove on their living conditions. Ngobili who stated that he would keep encouraging people who are doing well, emphasized that the POS empowerment scheme which took place at the Ihiala Local Gov­ernment hall was not for APGA members only but for everybody in Ihiala I state constituency.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with Daily Independent, said that the empowerment will change their lives for good. Meanwhile Lolo Chioma Peculiar Okeyenka from Uzoakwa in Ihiala, one of the beneficiaries, expressed joy saying that she got the N50,000 cash sup­port and the POS machine.

She was extremely happy that the lawmaker has set up a business for her to enable her take care of her family. Another beneficiary who identified herself as Chidim­ma Nwazulu Claire from Ihite Umuduru ward 7 Ihiala, also con­firmed that she got POS machine and a cash sum of N50,000 from Hon. Jude Ngobili.

Nwazulu said that the empower­ment will help boost her business and also increase her profit mar­gin even as Mrs. Adaeze Ngobili a native of Umunnamehi in Ihiala corroborated what other benefi­ciaries said, noting that she would make a huge fortune with the POS and cash empowerment…..CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
