According to Kazeem, Atiku’s constant disparaging remarks about Tinubu are hurtful to Nigeria’s reputation in addition to being rude. He threatened to take legal action against Atiku directly if he persisted in making such statements. He stated unequivocally that his concerns are for the nation, not politics, and that he is not a member of the APC, the ruling party.

He questioned Atiku’s style of leadership, arguing that a person who want to be in charge of Nigeria need to act with greater decency and accountability. According to Kazeem, public people ought to lead by example, particularly whether they are speaking in front of an audience or on a global scale. Kazeem also expressed worries about the potential impact such charges, particularly those containing grave allegations like drug-related operations, could have on Nigeria’s standing internationally. He emphasised that legal authority should make decisions rather than the general populace. This is what he stated:
