An irate Nigerian woman has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of requesting N800,000 in bail money in order to free some of her friends who were detained on suspicion of participating in the “Yahoo Yahoo” Internet scam…..CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

The distressed woman can be heard wailing and pleading with social media activist Martins Otse, popularly known as VDM, to help them secure her friends’ freedom in a video that has been making the rounds on social media since Monday.

The woman in the video screamed that her pals had been detained during a recent EFCC operation at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where some suspected scammers had been taken into custody. The woman continued by saying that her friends are still being held by EFCC officials, who she said are requesting money as the only requirement for their release, even though investigations and a phone search by agency agents revealed that they were not involved in fraudulent activities…..CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
