as well as the state-owned airline, according to Eno stressed that Emmanson and the airline are both a part of the Akwa Ibom family and shouldn’t be split apart by public disputes while speaking at a lavish event held in his honour on Saturday in Nsit Ubium, his hometown local government area.

“We will keep helping Ibom Air, our main airline. Because our resources are invested there, every Akwa Ibom person should be proud of it, the governor stated. Because “when two people fight, there is always the third person to separate the fight,” he cautioned locals from joining outside voices that try to assign blame. Governor Eno emphasised that any problems brought on by the incident were small and could be settled peacefully. He promised that all parties would receive help, but he did not disclose any concrete plans for the support he plans to offer.

After becoming involved in a confrontation with Ibom Air crew members at the airport, Emmanson, who is from Akwa Ibom, was briefly placed under remand before being granted a pardon by Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo. She has now spoken about the psychological impact of the encounter, alleging it left her terrified and reclusive. Eno recognised Emmanson as a daughter of the soil who merits sympathy and urged Akwa Ibom residents to be proud of Ibom Air, characterising it as a sign of the state’s advancement. He promised that his government would make sure the miscommunication didn’t drive a wedge amongst the populace.
