Olatunji stated in an August 26, 2025, interview on Oyinmomo TV’s YouTube channel that he and his wife first battled emotions of incompatibility before eventually coming to terms with one another.
He clarified that his wife was a virgin when they were married and that her strong religious beliefs greatly influenced her viewpoint and values. She was a devout born-again Christian. Olatunji, who left home at the age of 18 to start his own life, characterised himself as independent and strong-willed. He acknowledged that this upbringing occasionally made him less understanding, which caused conflict with his wife’s more traditional and orderly disposition. Olatunji underlined that time and cooperation enabled them to overcome their initial disagreements.
He claimed that both spouses eventually adapted to one another’s routines and viewpoints, turning their initial incompatibility into a stronger bond. He shared his tale as an open window into the realities of marriage, emphasising the importance of understanding, tolerance, and patience in maintaining their relationship. “I didn’t like the way she used to approach me when we got married, but I later realised that she was only trying to guide me to the right path,” Olatunji claims he remarked.
