Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Umeh, has shed light on why her colleague, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, often turns down romantic or kissing scenes in movies.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Where Is The Lie podcast, Umeh explained that Chukwuka’s strict Catholic upbringing largely shaped her choices in film roles.

“Chioma Chukwuka was raised in a deeply Catholic home. She doesn’t take up kissing or romantic roles in movies. I’m speaking from experience. She was a legionary and has always been a well-behaved girl,” Umeh said.

Interestingly, despite Umeh’s claims, the actress has featured in a number of romantic films. In fact, in her latest movie Seven Doors, she shared an on-screen kiss with fellow actor, Femi Adebayo.

From that moment, Oreoluwa’s life took a painful turn. She said she endured constant pain, withdrew from social life, and limped everywhere she went. Even simple tasks became unbearable, forcing her to rely on children younger than her to run errands.

Throughout the ordeal, her mother remained her rock comforting her, easing her pain, and even supporting her training in fashion design so she could build a skill despite her health struggles.

In 2022, when she finally turned 20, doctors confirmed she could undergo the long-awaited surgery. But just as hope returned, tragedy struck: her beloved mother, who had been her strongest support system, fell ill and passed away that same year……CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
