Lere Olayinka: “I’ve told you to get married; your life won’t be about masturbating on anything Wike.”

Lere Olayinka, Wike’s aide, has again attacked Rufai Oseni, a journalist with Arise TV, saying that he has the necessary journalism skills and spends too much time criticising Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)……CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>

Olayinka described how payments to the government are formally made through REMITA rather than in cash or straight into bank accounts in a long post on his X account. He explained that after making a payment, citizens receive a Remita receipt first, and then they can pick up a Treasury receipt from the appropriate government office. Before going to the public with the story, he said, any journalist looking into complaints regarding land difficulties or ground rent should first confirm data and get confirmation of payment.

Olayinka also cautioned Oseni that failure to pay ground rent might result in the government cancelling a Certificate of Occupancy under the Land Use Act. Before making his assertions, he accused the journalist of not verifying whether such things were included in the certificate. In addition to the technical aspects, Olayinka attacked Oseni personally. He made fun of him for being alone at 45, saying that he wouldn’t be online at 4 a.m. if he had a wife, calling it “advertising mediocrity.” He went on to call Oseni “an ex-convict” who still lacks the moral authority to speak for Nigerians who follow the law.

Olayinka reiterated that his incessant attention to Wike demonstrated that he had no life, but he did offer to help Oseni enrol in a journalistic training program. “Go get married and begin living a responsible life, as I have instructed you to do. If you do, you won’t be promoting your mediocrity on social media at 4 a.m. when you should be spending time with your wife in this kind of chilly weather. Wike, your life won’t also consist on masturbating on anything,” he wrote.
