The actress, who is from Iwo in Osun State, disclosed that she was raised by her grandmother and had several challenges at a young age. When she was around nine or ten years old, she claimed that being inappropriately approached by guys who were considerably older than her was one of the most agonising aspects of her early years. BJ claims that guys well into their thirties frequently showed unwanted interest in her attractiveness at that age. She described two instances in which she was called aside by older guys and received uncomfortable treatment.
She said that at the time, she did not completely understand the situation and even believed it to be normal. But as time went on, she realised that what she was doing was wrong. Even though these experiences were unpleasant, they helped her become more resilient and conscious as she grew older. “They taught me how to identify unhealthy behaviour and protect myself from potential harm,” she stated.
