In a video posted to her TikTok account, Odenku Joy was seen conversing with the pregnant woman by the roadside.
When Odenku Joy offered to book a cab for the woman, she requested the money instead, revealing that she needed it for her hospital bill.
According to the pregnant woman, he hospital demanded ₦28,000 and a referral letter from a health center where she registered for antenatal care.
Odenku Joy volunteered to accompany the woman to the hospital and pay the fees.
The pregnant woman was overwhelmed with gratitude, and Odenku Joy urged her to stay calm.
In a follow-up video, the woman obtained the referral letter, but before leaving the hospital, she developed contractions.
Odenku Joy helped her get baby items and accompanied her to the hospital, where she was taken to the delivery room.
