Adelu claimed in an interview with TV360 Nigeria that upon his initial arrival in Libya, he was tortured, held captive in a trafficking den, and compelled to contact a person who could provide a ransom to secure his release. According to Adelu, he visited a location in Libya known as a “camp” after being eventually freed. He claimed that he was compelled to perform odd jobs like burying the bodies of persons who perished in the Mediterranean Sea and cleaning mortuaries. According to Adelu, “They have to pick us up from there and take us to the mortuary so that we can go and clear the mortuary.” Occasionally, when a boat overturns in the ocean, they may visit the camp and choose us to go bury the deceased Nigerians or citizens……CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
