The magnificent Volcanoes National Park served as the venue for the yearly celebration honouring Rwanda’s animal conservation achievements. With a massive woven gorilla construction serving as the backdrop, Yemi Alade took the stage alongside other well-known visitors and environmentalists. Wearing flowing green ceremonial clothing, a black inner top, a modest headpiece, and ornaments that showed cultural refinement, she stood out.
Yemi held a sign as she spoke to the crowd, posed with other attendees, and took in the lively celebratory vibes captured in photos from the event. The newborn gorilla relaxing amidst the verdant surroundings was also photographed in a heartwarming moment, signifying the occasion’s goal.
