But six months later, one of the patrons came back, demanding that he redo the work since the seats were defective. According to reports, the artisan refused, arguing that he had performed his share of the work. According to witnesses, the dispute turned violent, and Imuekemhe lost his life as a result.
Speaking through tears, his wife explained how her husband was beaten when he got home. They tugged at his shirt as he descended from the bike, causing him to fall.
