In April, Mr. Imuekemhe was contracted to fix a few chairs, which he did and delivered. A few months later, a customer came back and said the seats were broken. According to reports, the craftsman insisted he had met his promise and refused to redo the work. The argument swiftly became heated, and Mr. Imuekemhe was attacked and killed as a result. His wife described the trauma with emotion: They grabbed him by the shirt when he got off the bike after getting home. One of them even choked him until he was unable to breathe using his shirt. All I want is for my spouse to get justice. He wasn’t worthy of dying.

Mr. Imuekemhe leaves behind a young child and a distraught wife. According to his relatives, he was a calm and industrious man whose passing has left a terrible hole in their hearts.
