Natasha appreciates Atiku, Saraki, Ezekwesili on return to Senate

Embattled Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has appreciated some eminent Nigerians who stood up for her during her six months suspension by the Senate.

Natasha appreciated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili and many more others who stood by her.

The lawmaker was suspended by the Senate for six months following her inability to prove her sexual harassment claim against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Following her suspension, Natasha’s office was sealed all through the six months duration.

The National Assembly’s Sergeant at Arms on Tuesday unsealed her office and Natasha has since resumed.

Addressing journalists in her office, Natasha said comments from Atiku, Saraki and others made Akpabio to realize that he could not keep up against her.

She said: “I thank people like aunty Oby Ezekwesili, sister Aisha, Mama Pee, Dr Abiola, Peter d Rock, Yemi of Enough is Enough, Femi Falana, and many others that I can’t even call.

“Atiku Abubakar, Saraki, many people who have learnt that voices and even political parties like the LP, ADC, I saw their statement and my beloved PDP, Nigerian bar Association, Nigerian Labour Congress, and I think that was the pressure the Senate President and realized that he just can’t.”
