NPFL: Wikki Tourists must improve on goal scoring – Maikaba

Wikki Tourists Technical Adviser, Abdullahi Maikaba, has acknowledged the need for his players to improve on marksmanship.

Maikaba pointed out the need following his players’ failure to convert numerous chances created in the 1-0 defeat to Katsina United in a matchday five fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, on Monday.

The veteran tactician declared that the issue will be addressed before their week six fixture against Rangers.

“We created chances enough to win the game but couldn’t convert. It’s something we have to address immediately before our next game,” Maikaba stated in a post-match interview.

It would be recalled that the Bauchi Elephants have failed to score in their last two games.

Wikki Tourists occupy ninth position on the NPFL table with seven points from five matches.
