Nasarawa: Governor Sule approves N600m compensation for Keffi flyover project

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has approved the payment of N600 million as compensation to property owners who were affected by the planned construction of a flyover at the popular Total Roundabout in Keffi, Keffi Local Government Area.

The approval was confirmed by the Managing Director of the Nasarawa Urban Development Board (NUDB), Engineer Mohammed Wada Yahaya, in a Facebook post on Sunday morning.

Yahaya, a Keffi resident, confirmed that the payment process for the affected persons will begin this week.

The flyover project, which aims to ease traffic congestion in Keffi, was awarded a few months ago at a contract sum of over N10 billion.

The project is part of the state government’s broader infrastructure development agenda.
