Her father was heard speaking angrily during an interview, seeking justice and recompense for his daughter, in a recent video posted by the well-known Facebook site Gist Reel.
“Is it because I don’t have money that my daughter was treated this way?” the distraught parent wondered in a devastating query. He said that regardless of the circumstances, no parent should ever witness their child being publicly humiliated. He clarified that Comfort’s dignity was ruined and that the whole family, not just her, was scarred by the occurrence. He urged the government, the airline, and human rights groups to make sure that justice is done and the issue doesn’t go away.
Additionally, he emphasised that his daughter should be compensated for the anguish and humiliation she endured, particularly since videos of the incident were extensively circulated on social media, subjecting her to criticism and mockery from strangers all across the nation.
