Haven Homes, lifestyle developers, has handed over a refurbished, fully equipped Medical Centre to the Police.
Assistant Inspector General of Police in Zone, Fayoade Adegoke, received the facility on behalf of Zone 2. He was assisted by Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Bola Ojugbile, Resident Doctor of the Medical Centre, Inspector Emmanuel Ogboji and other officers.
Chief Executive Officer of Haven Homes, Tayo Sonuga, was represented by Managing Director, Mrs. Ufuoma Ilessanmi, who handed over the facility with the Project Manager, John Dike, and Marketing Manager of Monterossa Construction Limited, Firas Jaber.
Located at Onikan in Lagos, the facility was designed to be an upgrade to improve wellbeing of patients in the zone by providing effective and timely health care responses for emergencies.
In a statement, the company said: “At Haven Homes, we believe building a better world starts with creating better spaces, not only for our clients, but also for the wider community”.
“We are proud to have completed the full renovation of the Police Clinic at Zone 2 in charge of Lagos and Ogun states. This medical facility provides the essential care for the officers and staff who protect us and takes care of the inmates and suspects in the police custody”.
Acknowledging the good work of the AIG and the Police, the company added: “Our appreciation goes to AIG Adegoke Fayoade, whose passion for making the police environment safe, conducive, and comfortable for his officers and everyone inspired and energised us to embark on this renovation. His vision set the tone for this project and pushed us to deliver a space worthy of the people it serves”.
Ilessanmi said: ”We are pleased to assist. As a community, we always wanted to do something for the Police. With a relationship established, we look forward to doing more “.
