The confrontation stems from Wike’s criticism of Rotimi Amaechi’s remarks about hunger under the Tinubu administration. Chief Chukwuemeka Eze fired back: “Wike knows posterity will never be fair to him, he betrayed and destroyed the party that made him.”
The APC leader made startling claims about Wike’s political future: “He has dug his political grave, and the likes of Akpabio, Uzodimma and Umahi are waiting for him in APC.” Chief Eze also accused Wike of electoral fraud in Rivers State during the 2023 polls.
Chief Eze thanked Nyesom Wike for “reeling out Amaechi’s impressive political resumé,” while also praising two presidential aides for inadvertently admitting Tinubu’s leadership deficiencies in their responses to Amaechi’s criticisms.
