Ngwenya allegedly stabbed 20-year-old Morata to death outside a tavern in Hammanskraal, Gauteng, on the morning of August 21, 2025.
Shockingly, he filmed her lifeless body and posted the video online, later confessing to the crime in a social media post.
He reportedly justified the killing, claiming emotional betrayal as the reason behind his actions.
Police say after the murder, Ngwenya returned home and allegedly stabbed his current 20-year-old girlfriend multiple times.
She survived the attack and is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The suspect was arrested early Friday morning in Carousel View, near Maubane village.
Authorities praised the swift response of officers in tracking and apprehending the suspect.
