The homeowner reportedly stated, “She was stabbed multiple times on her neck, allegedly by a young man who is the son of her husband’s concubine,” according to the Daily Trust News. The boy has been transported to the police station after being arrested.
According to the resident, Iya Ganiyat, a woman, was fatally stabbed in her home. The community was shocked and alarmed when the resident heard people yelling and running to the house at around 2:00 pm. Witnesses claim that Iya Ganiyat, Alhaji Gani’s wife, was repeatedly stabbed in the neck by a young man who was apparently the son of her husband’s concubine.
