Additionally, Netanyahu cautioned that “all options are open” and that “no one is immune.” “The cowardly Iranian dictator sits deep within a fortified bunker and deliberately launches attacks towards hospitals and residential buildings in Israel,” stated Defence Minister Israel Katz in reference to the attack. Other authorities, including Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, denounced Iran’s targeting of people as a war crime. President Isaac Herzog referred to the missile strike as an assault on defenceless civilians and emphasised the hospital’s service to both Israelis and Palestinians.
Uriel Buso, the minister of health, called the missile assault on Soroka a “terrorist attack” and asked people to protect themselves by following safety precautions. The far-right Iran’s readiness to strike hospitals indicates that it would not think twice about using nuclear weapons, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir cautioned. Opposition leaders emphasised Israel’s right to target Iran’s nuclear and missile programs while denouncing the missile strike. Israel’s current strategy aims to halt Iran’s missile and nuclear threats.
