Video: DONE DEALS: Every Official Completed Transfer Around Europe Today

The 2025 summer transfer window has officially reopened for clubs in both the Premier League and Ligue 1, following an initial burst of transfer activity ahead of the revamped Club World Cup.

To accommodate the tournament, FIFA had implemented a short transfer window from June 1 to June 10. During this time, clubs around the world were allowed to make signings. However, the window closed on June 10, only to reopen for English and French teams on June 16.

Clubs in Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, and Germany’s Bundesliga will not be permitted to complete transfers until July 1, although many deals have already been agreed upon.

For instance, Como announced the signing of Martin Baturina for a club-record €22 million on June 16, while Barcelona added Joan Garcia to their squad on June 18.

In the Premier League, Bournemouth and Brighton have both been busy. Bournemouth signed Adrien Truffert for €13.5 million, and Brighton brought in Diego Coppola for €11 million. Liverpool made headlines by landing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a record-breaking €117.5 million, a fee that could increase to €136.3 million—potentially the highest in Premier League history.
