Nigerian music sensation Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, was among the top entertainers who graced Umuawa Alaocha in Umuahia, Abia State on Friday, June 27. The occasion was the official launch of two new radio stations by prominent media entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, widely recognized as Don Lulu.
The star-studded event attracted several celebrities, including Cubana Chiefpriest, Timaya, Kcee, Bright Chimezie, Peruzzi, Zlatan, Zoro, and Jeriq. Guests were treated to energetic performances and lively entertainment throughout the celebration.
Clips circulating online show Davido lighting up the stage with some of his chart-topping hits, much to the excitement of fans. However, one unexpected moment stood out during his performance. The singer abruptly paused the show to confront a concertgoer who had brought a baby to the front of the loud, crowded venue. Visibly upset, Davido expressed his displeasure, urging fans to consider children’s safety at such events.
The incident sparked conversations online, with many agreeing that concerts may not be safe spaces for infants.
