The veteran actor talked about previous disputes in the Nollywood community, especially those involving Toyin Abraham and Iyabo Ojo, in an interview on Behind The Fame – African A-List. He remarked, “When I heard they had problems, I was really sad.” “But I’m grateful that they are now friends and that their differences have been resolved.” Pa James prayed that there wouldn’t be any more miscommunications between the three, calling them his children in the business. “My children are Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, and Iyabo Ojo. He prayed that the devil would not cause them to become estranged once more.
Pa James continued his defence of Iyabo Ojo’s reputation by describing how he once prevented someone from disparaging her. “I told them to stop talking like way while they were making negative remarks about Iyabo Ojo. That is not the type of person she is. He acknowledged her capacity to maintain composure under pressure and praised her emotional development. Thankfully, she no longer loses her temper readily.
