A wave of shock and anger has followed the gruesome k!lling of a young woman from Benue State, allegedly carried out by her ex-boyfriend in Lagos on Thursday night……CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
The deceased, an interior decorator who had only just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was said to have been attacked inside her home by her former lover, identified as Lintex Ogale.
According to the victim’s sister, the relationship ended in August 2023, but Ogale reportedly refused to let go, constantly issuing threats that “if he could not marry her, no one else would.”
On the night of the incident, witnesses said the suspect disguised himself as a delivery rider in order to gain access to the estate. When security refused him entry, he allegedly scaled the fence, cut the victim’s gas pipe in what appeared to be an attempt to trigger an expl0sion, before eventually breaking into her apartment.
Eyewitnesses recounted that he launched a vicious attack with a kn!fe, stabbing the victim repeatedly until she collapsed. He then attempted to inflict harm on himself but was subdued by neighbours, who restrained him until police officers arrived.
The grieving family described their daughter as “a hardworking young woman with a promising future, whose life was cut short by a relationship by force.”
