The body of the accountant, which had two stab wounds to the chest and stomach, was discovered along 35 Road.
A witness told Abuja Metro that police from the Gwarimpa division were alerted to the incident and, after notifying her family, took her body to Kubwa General Hospital.
A relative of the deceased told our reporter that Ms. Thomas had been in the Karshi community earlier that day to pick up her two children ahead of their school’s resumption.
“She left Karshi around 7 pm and went to her home in Lugbe to drop off the children,” the relative said.
According to the relative, “She left the house after that, with a promise to come back soon.”
A knife, believed to be the murder weapon, and an apple watch were found inside the car with her body, Daily Trust gathered.
Abuja Metro further reports that this incident comes just a week after a Bolt driver was found dead on the Gwarimpa-Kubwa expressway with a stab wound to his neck.
