Karimot Ogunbayo, Mohbad’s sister-in-law, reacted strongly to an interview with his close friend, Dominica.

In the interview with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), Dominica shared unsettling details about Mohbad’s life before his death in September 2023.

The controversy surrounding the untimely death of Nigerian artist Mohbad has deepened, following a strong reaction from Karimot Ogunbayo, the singer’s sister-in-law, to a recent interview featuring Dominica, his close friend.

In the trending interview with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), Dominica revealed chilling details about events leading up to Mohbad’s sudden passing in September 2023. She spoke about his alleged drug use, his encounter with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), and his connections with people close to him including his wife Wunmi and fellow artist Bella Shmurda.

Dominica’s revelations, however, have sparked backlash.

Karimot, in a fiery response, accused VDM of intentionally distorting the truth to shield individuals like Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who have been widely implicated in Mohbad’s troubled history.

One particularly contentious point was Dominica’s claim that Wunmi once called Naira Marley to accuse Bella Shmurda of giving Mohbad a drug known as “ICE.” Karimot warned that such a statement could damage the bond between Wunmi and Bella, especially given Bella’s open support for Wunmi since Mohbad’s death.

Karimot stated:

“Dominica said Wunmi called Naira to report Bella Shmurda was giving Mohbad ICE. That kind of accusation can shatter the trust between Bella and Wunmi. Bella is standing by Wunmi, but that’s their issue. I can’t stand with Wunmi. My loyalty remains with Mohbad.”

She further criticised VDM for seemingly focusing only on Mohbad’s alleged drug use without questioning others like Sam Larry or Primeboy about their involvement or habits.

Her words:

“You kept pressing on whether Mohbad did drugs. Tell me, which hip-hop artist doesn’t? Even gospel singers do. Did you ever ask Sam Larry or Primeboy if they used drugs?”

Karimot also took aim at Mohbad’s parents, accusing them of remaining silent when their son was allegedly assaulted by Sam Larry…CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
